The Thatched Cottage restaurant was reopened in 2015 under new management with head chef Danny White. The evening menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce with a focus on fresh local ingredients, forest specialities and fish caught along the south coast. All meals are cooked to order and all dietary requirements can be accommodated.
The restaurant serves breakfast from 9-11am although a continental breakfast is available for hotel residents from 8.30am.We use locally reared bacon and pork sausages, all our eggs come from a local farm, and locally grown fruit jam from ‘My Nan’s Jam’.
Light bites and Cream Teas are served 12-4pm. In the summer, outside seating can accommodate up to 30 people and tables can be reserved for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or pizza freshly cooked in our outside wood fire pizza oven.
